Freelance Engineer Agreement
1. Working Hours & Payment
A full-day shift is from 9 AM to 6 PM, with a payment of £125. A half-day shift is from 9 AM to 1 PM, with a payment of £62.50.
2. Device Collection Responsibility
When collecting a device from a customer, a handover form must be completed and acknowledged by both parties.
3. Lead Purchase Responsibility
Upon purchasing a job lead, the engineer is responsible for liaising with the customer, executing and completing the job, and providing Thor Computer with regular updates.
4. Lead Purchase Policy
All lead purchases are final and non-refundable.
5. No Guarantee of Secured Work
Purchasing a lead does not guarantee a secured job or further communication with the client.
6. Cancellation Fee
In the event of a cancellation by the customer, a £25 cancellation fee will be charged.
7. Parts Procurement
Engineers must provide all necessary device details and await customer approval before placing orders for parts.
8. Administrative Fees
A £10 fee applies for raising an invoice, along with a 7% administrative fee on each invoice.
9. Communication Commitment
Engineers must maintain regular communication with both the customer and Thor Computer regarding job progress.
10. Mileage and Fuel Costs
Thor Computer does not cover mileage or fuel costs.
11. Professional Conduct
Engineers must maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.
12. Policy Adherence
Engineers must adhere to all company policies. Failure to do so makes them fully responsible for any disputes or damages.
13. Indemnification
Engineers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thor Computer from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from their work.
14. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of [STATE].
15. Dispute Resolution
Disputes will be resolved through either court litigation, binding arbitration, mediation, or mediation followed by binding arbitration.
16. Agreement Binding Effect
This agreement is binding upon the engineer and their successors.
17. Assignment
Engineer rights under this agreement cannot be transferred without prior written consent.
18. Entire Agreement
This document represents the full agreement between the engineer and Thor Computer.
19. Amendments
No modifications to this agreement will be valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.
20. Legal Notices
Any legal notices must be in writing and sent via official means.
21. Waiver
Failure to enforce any provision does not waive future enforcement rights.
22. Severability
If any part of this agreement is found invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect.
Final Agreement
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined above.
